Connecting your social accounts

Connecting your social media profiles is the first step to unlocking the power of Tareno. Our platform uses secure OAuth 2.0 protocols, meaning we never see or store your passwords.

Supported Platforms & Requirements:

• Instagram: You must have an Instagram Business or Creator account. This account must be linked to a Facebook Page where you have administrative access.
• Facebook: You can connect and post to Facebook Pages and Facebook Groups. For Groups, you must add the Tareno App in the Group's advanced settings.
• TikTok: Supports both Personal and Business accounts.
• YouTube: Requires a Google account with an active YouTube channel.
• Pinterest: Works with personal and business Pinterest profiles.
• Threads & X (Twitter): Standard OAuth connection.

Step-by-Step Connection Guide:

1. Log in to your Tareno Dashboard.
2. Go to the Channels section in the sidebar.
3. Click the "Connect New Channel" button.
4. Select the platform icon.
5. A popup window will appear from the social network. Log in and click "Allow" or "Authorize."
6. Once redirected back to Tareno, select the specific pages or profiles you want to import.

Troubleshooting Connection Issues: If a channel doesn't appear in the selection list, ensure that the social network account you're logged into has the correct permissions (e.g., you are an Admin of the Facebook Page).
