Outcome
Open-source tooling update for Mastodon: a Mastodon tooling update
From brief to reviewed draft
- 01Start from approved source material and an explicit audience.
- 02Ask the agent to prepare open-source tooling update for mastodon.
- 03Inspect the draft, links, media, and timing in Tareno.
- 04Approve the chosen publishing action in Tareno.
Three ways to use this workflow
Example 02
Prepare two voice-appropriate alternatives for the same Mastodon audience.
Example 03
Create a review queue with a clear source, owner, and publishing window.
Connect the workflow responsibly
- 01Create a separate Tareno API key with only the scopes the workflow needs.
- 02Connect the remote MCP endpoint in an agent environment that supports authenticated remote MCP.
- 03Let the agent prepare drafts and inspect context; review write actions in Tareno before publishing.
- 04Verify the connection with list_accounts, prepare one draft, and check get_action_status after any action that needs approval.

Questions before you connect it
Does this page mean the agent has an official Tareno plugin?
No. The page documents a Tareno workflow. Use the remote MCP only where the agent environment supports authenticated remote MCP connections.
Can the agent publish without review?
No. Tareno keeps scheduling, publishing, scheduled edits, and deletion behind dashboard approval.
How do I connect Continue to Tareno?
First confirm that your Continue environment supports authenticated remote MCP. Add https://tareno.co/api/mcp using that client's documented setup, sign in, then verify the connection with list_accounts before preparing a draft.
What still happens in Tareno after an agent connects through MCP?
The agent can prepare drafts and request supported actions. Tareno remains where you check connected accounts, drafts, approval status, and scheduling; unsupported platform steps stay manual.
Should I publish the same text unchanged to every short-form network?
Usually not. Prepare a separate version for each network and review its opening, length, links, mentions, and tags in context.
How do I confirm which account will receive this post?
List connected accounts, name the intended brand or profile in the brief, and verify Tareno shows that destination before approval.
How should I handle a post based on current news or research?
Include the source and date, separate verified facts from commentary, and recheck the claim and link immediately before approval.
How should I adapt one idea across short-form platforms?
Keep the core point consistent, but tailor the hook, length, tags, and links to each audience. Review every post in its native format.
