DeepSeek/TarenoDeepSeek provides models through an API.
DeepSeek / Tareno
Watch what happens right after you connect Tareno: your assistant can see your social accounts, and you can start writing.

Use an MCP-capable agent client with DeepSeek as its model provider. You connect Tareno in an agent client, such as Claude Code, that can run on DeepSeek's Anthropic-compatible API. The client's own MCP setup then applies. Tareno has not tested this combination, and the client's guide decides which steps you follow.
DeepSeek's documentation lists an OpenAI-format base URL and an Anthropic-format one at api.deepseek.com/anthropic. It says the API works with tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode. This is model-provider configuration; configure Tareno separately in the client’s MCP settings.
Choose the agent client you would use anyway and follow its guide to add Tareno, such as the Claude Code page. The MCP connection belongs to the client. Keep it configured when switching providers, then verify that the chosen model can use its tools correctly.
For Claude Code, set ANTHROPIC_BASE_URL to https://api.deepseek.com/anthropic and configure ANTHROPIC_AUTH_TOKEN with your own DeepSeek key through the client’s private configuration. This is separate from your Tareno credential. Follow DeepSeek’s current guide for supported model names and verify tool calls with the selected client and model.
Ask the client to call your connected accounts first. Tool calling quality differs between models, so also check that it fills the draft fields correctly before you let it save several drafts in a row.

Approval in Tareno

Running a client on a different model is a cost and preference choice, not a different way of connecting. These situations are where it comes up.
If your developers use an agent client and have switched its model to DeepSeek for cost reasons, nothing about Tareno changes: the client still holds the MCP connection. The client exposes the configured tools to the selected model, subject to client support and permissions. Verify a read-only call before relying on the combination.
Turning a long release history into many short drafts is a token-heavy job. A cheaper model can make sense for the first pass, with a person reading each draft before it is saved. The review step matters more than which model wrote the text.
Prompts sent through the API go to the model provider you choose. If your repository or notes contain material that your organisation restricts, decide that before pointing a client at any external model, and never include keys, customer data or private code in a draft prompt.
One guide for every network this agent can work with in Tareno, each with its own example, prompts and limits.
Codex, Claude Code and Cursor are agent clients with a documented way to add Tareno. DeepSeek sits underneath such a client as a model choice. If your question is which client to use, read those pages. If it is which model, treat the choice as separate and test the draft quality yourself.

No. DeepSeek publishes a model API and documentation for using it from other tools, and it has no connector directory that Tareno could be listed in. Tareno is connected in the client that calls the model, not in DeepSeek.
It lets clients built for the Anthropic format call DeepSeek models by changing the base URL and credentials. DeepSeek's documentation says Claude Code can run this way. It does not change how MCP servers are added, which stays a setting of the client.
No. Community DeepSeek MCP servers expose DeepSeek's models as tools to other clients, which is the opposite direction. Some call themselves official without DeepSeek confirming it, so check the owner before sending an API token to any hosted one.
That is for you to test. Tool calling and writing style differ between models, so compare a few drafts on the same input, and keep the human review before any time is requested. Tareno makes no claim about model quality.
No. Tareno has documented its own MCP setup for several clients, but it has not run those clients on DeepSeek models. Use a read-only call as the first test, and a test draft as the second.
Prompts are sent to DeepSeek's API when a client runs on its models. Decide what may leave your organisation before you point a client at it, and never put credentials or customer information into a prompt that you want drafted into a post.
No. A scheduling or publishing request becomes an approval action in Tareno, and nothing reaches X until you approve it in the dashboard. The client can only report that the action is pending and read its status afterwards.
Usually `list_accounts` to confirm the destination, then `create_drafts` to save the text. `schedule_posts` comes last and returns an approval action instead of publishing anything, and `get_action_status` tells you what became of the request.
Start with your Tareno account, connect your agent and prepare drafts. You approve what goes live.
