Use Grok Bot with Tareno to check a viral claim against approved sources, lay out claim, evidence and verdict as slides and save a TikTok draft you approve in Tareno.
Can Grok Bot check a viral claim and turn the result into a TikTok carousel?
Yes, over a custom remote MCP connection to Tareno. Grok Bot weighs the claim against sources you approve, writes slides for the claim, the evidence and a careful verdict, and saves a photo-carousel draft once your slide images are in the library. scheduling stays pending until you approve it.
A viral claim spreads faster than any correction, so a fact-check has to arrive in the same format as the claim: short, visual and swipeable. A photo carousel suits it, with one slide for what was said, a few for what the evidence shows and one for the verdict. Grok Bot is strong at gathering current evidence and at laying out where the sources agree, and Tareno takes the finished slides into a draft with an approval step. This page follows a consumer-protection creator checking a kitchen-safety hack, including why the verdict slide is the one that needs a human.
Example: a consumer-protection creator checks a kitchen hack
Imagine a creator who debunks household myths. A video claims that rinsing raw chicken makes it safer. She gives Grok Bot the claim and three approved sources: a food-safety agency page, a university extension article and a study summary. Grok Bot lays out what each source says, notes that all three agree the advice is wrong and that one adds a detail about splashing bacteria. It drafts six slides: the claim, two evidence slides, the reason, the verdict and the source names. Her designer exports the six images to the library, Grok Bot pairs them through list_media and saves the carousel with create_drafts. She re-reads the verdict slide, reads the creator options and approves a Friday slot.
Step by step
01
Connect Tareno by hand
Grok Bot reaches Tareno through a custom connector that you add with the endpoint and an OAuth sign-in, if your plan permits custom connectors. A catalog install is not available today.
02
State the claim exactly
Give Grok Bot the claim in the words the video used and a link to it. A fact-check of a paraphrase checks the wrong thing.
03
Choose the evidence sources
Name the sources you accept, ideally an official body and an independent expert source. Ask Grok Bot to show what each says and where they differ.
04
Draft claim, evidence, verdict
Ask for six slides: the claim, two slides of evidence, the reason, the verdict and the sources. Keep the verdict to what the sources support, such as unsupported or misleading, not a stronger word.
05
Have the slides designed
Grok Bot writes the text; a designer or template tool makes the images. Export them vertically in order and add them to your Tareno library.
06
Save, review the verdict and approve
Grok Bot pairs images with text through list_media and saves the carousel via create_drafts. Read the verdict slide twice, then approve the pending request in the Tareno dashboard.

Lay out the evidence
Check this claim: [rinsing raw chicken makes it safer], as stated in [video URL]. Use only these sources: [URLs]. For each source say what it states about the claim, quote one sentence and tell me where the sources differ or add a caveat.
Write the six slides
Write six slides for a TikTok photo carousel: the claim in the video's own words, two slides of evidence, the reason in plain language, a verdict that says only what the sources support and a slide that names the sources. Keep each slide under 20 words.
Save through Tareno
Use Tareno to find the images [check-01 to check-06] in my media library, in order, and save them as a TikTok carousel draft for [account] with a caption of two lines and three hashtags. Do not request a time before I have read the verdict slide.
Re-check before publishing
Re-read the three sources today and tell me whether any of them changed since I first asked. If the wording of the evidence or the verdict needs to change, show the new text before I approve the slot in Tareno.

Network-specific
creator settings come from get_platform_options (tiktok_creator_info)
As configured in Tareno on 2026-10-24. The live rules for your own account come from the get_platform_schema tool.
What TikTok itself documents
Direct posting needs an app that is approved for the video.publish scope. Content posted by unaudited clients is restricted to private viewing until the client passes TikTok's audit.
Before a direct post, the creator's current options must be queried: the allowed privacy levels, whether comments, duets and stitches are disabled, and the maximum video duration. In Tareno this is get_platform_options with the option tiktok_creator_info.
A fact-check fits the photo-carousel format, where Tareno's configuration allows many vertical images in one post, so claim, evidence and verdict can each have a slide.
TikTok captions in Tareno can hold a short source line, though links are not supported in the text, so the sources appear on the last slide by name.
TikTok returns the creator options per account, including privacy levels and the comment setting, and a fact-check often draws arguments, so decide on comments before the post is live.
Tareno has no comment reading for TikTok, so replies to a fact-check have to be read in the app.
What does not work
Grok Bot cannot decide what is true beyond what the sources state, so the verdict slide needs your own reading before approval.
It cannot design the slide images, so the carousel needs finished 9:16 images in your Tareno media library.
It cannot publish by itself, since scheduling and publishing requests wait for your approval in the Tareno dashboard.
Mistakes to avoid
Calling something false when the sources only say it is unsupported. Use the strongest word that the evidence allows and no stronger.
Checking a paraphrase of the claim. Quote the original wording on the first slide.
Citing one source three times. Show at least two independent sources, or say that only one exists.
Ignoring the comment setting. A fact-check attracts disagreement, so choose whether comments are open before you publish.
Open the client's MCP server settings. Add Tareno with the HTTPS endpoint below using Streamable HTTP. This requires support for authenticated remote MCP, not just local stdio servers.
Choose OAuth, connect and sign in with your own Tareno account. Check the requested permissions. Refresh the client's tool list after authorization.
Run list_accounts first. Confirm the returned workspace and account IDs before creating a draft. If no accounts appear, connect a social account in Tareno first.

Yes. Give it the exact claim and the sources you accept, and it lays out what each says, where they differ and a careful verdict. You design the slides and read the verdict before anything is saved or scheduled.
Why a carousel and not a video for a fact-check?
A carousel lets viewers pause on the evidence, and it needs no filming. Tareno's configuration allows many vertical images in one TikTok post, so claim, evidence and verdict can each have a slide.
How strong should the verdict be?
As strong as the sources allow. If they say a claim is unsupported, say unsupported. A verdict that goes beyond the evidence gives critics an easy correction and damages the whole post.
Where do the sources go?
On the last slide by name, and in the caption as a short line. Links are not supported in the TikTok text in Tareno's configuration, so give the name and the date of each source and put a list in your bio.
Can I connect Grok Bot without the catalog?
Yes, with a custom connector where your Grok plan allows it. We submitted Tareno to the Grok Bot marketplace and had no recorded decision at the last check in October 2026.
Will the carousel publish without my approval?
No. A scheduling request becomes a pending action in Tareno. TikTok receives the post only after you approve it in the dashboard, and Grok Bot can only report that it is pending.
