Hermes Agent for X: A Weekly Rhythm Without Repeats
Let Hermes Agent remember which topics you have already posted on X, turn your weekly client-work notes into five new drafts and wait for your approval in Tareno.
Can Hermes Agent remember what I posted on X and write five new posts a week?
Yes, as far as its own memory goes. Hermes Agent keeps the topics and angles you have used, turns your weekly notes into five new drafts within 280 characters and saves them through Tareno. It cannot read your X timeline, so it knows only what you told it. Approval happens in Tareno.
An independent consultant has plenty to say and little time to say it. The posts that build a reputation on X come from real work, lessons learned this week, but they only work if they do not repeat last month's lesson and do not reveal a client. A one-shot chat forgets what was posted. Hermes Agent keeps context between sessions, which is the part that matters for a rhythm. This page follows a pricing consultant who sends Hermes a few notes every Friday, and it draws a clear line around what the agent knows: only what you tell it, because Tareno does not read posts on X.
Example: a pricing consultant posts five lessons a week
Imagine a pricing consultant who sends Hermes six bullet notes each Friday from the week's client work. Hermes remembers the last two months of topics and tells her that two of the six repeat earlier posts, one about anchoring and one about discount ladders. It suggests a new angle for each, drops a note that names a client's product and writes five posts of at most 280 characters in her voice. She tells Hermes which of its remembered topics are wrong, because it had recorded one post she deleted. Hermes saves the five drafts through create_drafts for her X account, and she requests one slot a day for the following week.
Step by step
01
Teach Hermes your voice and your rules
Tell it how you sound, what you never post, such as client names, and how long a post should be. Hermes keeps this between sessions, so you say it once.
02
Give it the week's notes
Send rough bullets from the week. Say which are safe to use and which are only for you; the agent cannot tell a confidential detail from a harmless one.
03
Ask for overlap with the past
Hermes compares the new notes with the topics it remembers and says which would repeat. It only knows what you told it, so correct it when it remembers a post you deleted or never published.
04
Draft five posts
Request five posts within 280 characters, each with a different angle. A week of five posts with one idea is a single post told five times.
05
Save to your account
Hermes confirms the X account with list_accounts and saves the drafts through create_drafts. X takes hashtags and mentions in Tareno's configuration, so say whether you use them.
06
Space the requests and approve
Ask for one slot a day at a time that suits your followers' time zone. The requests become pending actions, and you approve them in the Tareno dashboard.

Store the rules
Remember these rules for the X posts we save through Tareno: first person, no client names or products, no hashtags, one idea per post of at most 280 characters, and always end with a question or a concrete number. Tell me what you have stored and ask about anything unclear.
Check for repeats
Here are this week's notes: [bullets]. Compare them with the topics you remember from my earlier posts and tell me which would repeat, which post each one repeats and a fresh angle for each. List anything you remember that I should confirm.
Write five drafts
Write five X posts for my Tareno drafts from the notes you cleared, each within 280 characters and each with a different angle. Remove every detail that could identify a client, and mark any sentence you changed for that reason so I can check the result.
Save and spread the requests
Use Tareno to confirm my X account [handle] and save the five approved posts as drafts. After I confirm, ask for one slot a day at [09:15] in the [Europe/Berlin] time zone and return the pending action IDs.

What Tareno can read
posts published outside Tareno: no; comments: no; transcripts: no; video download: yes
As configured in Tareno on 2026-10-24. The live rules for your own account come from the get_platform_schema tool.
What X itself documents
A post may include up to 4 photos, 1 animated GIF or 1 video.
The allowed video length depends on the posting account, not on the API plan: 20 minutes and 8 GB by default, 125 minutes and 16 GB with X Premium or verified status. Tareno's configuration for X stops at 140 seconds.
Quote-posting through the API requires an Enterprise plan and is not available on self-serve tiers.
Tareno does not read posts or replies on X, so Hermes's memory is the only record of what you posted; if you publish on X directly, tell the agent or it will not know.
Tareno's configuration for X allows 280 characters with hashtags and mentions, no formatting, and up to four images, so a rhythm of short posts with no media is the simplest to keep.
X's API documentation notes that quote posts require an Enterprise plan, so a rhythm built on quoting your own earlier posts is not something Tareno can schedule.
Tareno saves single posts for X and has no thread tool, so Hermes plans five separate ideas rather than one sequence.
What does not work
Hermes Agent cannot read your X timeline through Tareno, so it does not know about posts you wrote outside its conversations.
It cannot recognise a confidential detail in your notes, so you decide what is safe to share before it writes.
It cannot make a post appear by itself, because a time request becomes a post only after you approve it in the Tareno dashboard.
Mistakes to avoid
Trusting memory that is out of date. Tell Hermes when you delete or edit a post on X, because it cannot see the change.
Using notes that name a client. Strip them before you send, and then check the draft again.
Writing five posts with the same shape. Vary opening, length and the kind of evidence, or followers stop reading.
Treating the rhythm as the goal. A week with only three good ideas needs three posts, not five.
Open the client's MCP server settings. Add Tareno with the HTTPS endpoint below using Streamable HTTP. This requires support for authenticated remote MCP, not just local stdio servers.
Choose OAuth, connect and sign in with your own Tareno account. Check the requested permissions. Refresh the client's tool list after authorization.
Run list_accounts first. Confirm the returned workspace and account IDs before creating a draft. If no accounts appear, connect a social account in Tareno first.

Only from what you told it in earlier sessions. Tareno does not read posts on X, so tell Hermes when you post or delete something directly, and ask it to list the topics it remembers before each week.
Can it avoid repeating a topic automatically?
It compares new notes with the topics it remembers and reports overlaps with a fresh angle. The check is only as good as its memory, so correct it when it remembers a post you removed.
How do I stop client details from leaking into posts?
Tell Hermes the rule once, mark sensitive notes as private and ask it to flag every sentence it changed to remove a detail. Then read the five drafts yourself before you request any time.
Should I post five times a week?
Only if you have five distinct ideas. Hermes can tell you when two notes make the same point, and a smaller number of varied posts usually serves your followers better than a fixed quota.
Can Hermes post a thread of my lessons?
Not through Tareno, which saves single posts for X. Hermes can plan five separate posts instead, each with its own point, and you can link them yourself in replies on X.
Does Hermes publish without me?
No. Each scheduling request is a pending action in Tareno, and X receives the post only after you approve it in the dashboard. `get_action_status` reports the result afterwards.
