Message OpenClaw your weekly specials; it drafts the Facebook Page post with your photo through Tareno and sums up last week's comments every Monday for you to approve.
Can OpenClaw draft Facebook Page posts when I message it my weekly specials?
Yes. Send OpenClaw the week's specials in a channel configured in your Gateway. It writes the Facebook post, attaches a photo from your Tareno library and saves it as a Page draft. A Monday job can summarize last week's comments. It cannot reply to them, and scheduling stays pending until you approve it in Tareno.
Cafés and small restaurants have a Facebook Page that regulars still read, and a weekly post about the specials is its best content. The trouble is timing: the specials are decided on Sunday evening while the dishes are being prepped, and the post gets written never. OpenClaw lives in the chat apps a kitchen already uses, so the post can start from a thirty-second message. This page follows a neighborhood café from that message to a draft on the Page, with a Monday job that turns last week's comments into a short list of what customers asked, and with the rule that prices and allergens are checked by a person.
Example: a neighborhood café announces the week's specials
Imagine a café owner who messages OpenClaw on WhatsApp on Sunday night: three specials with prices, a note that the oat cake is vegan and the photo name from the library. OpenClaw finds the photo through list_media, writes a friendly post of about 70 words with the prices exactly as sent and saves it through create_drafts for the café's Page. It replies with the text. She asks to move the cake higher, approves the Monday 07:30 slot in Tareno the next morning, and a Monday cron run reads the comments of the previous week's post with list_post_comments and messages her a list: two questions about oat milk, one about opening hours, three compliments.
Step by step
01
Message the specials with prices
Send the dishes, the prices and any dietary note in a channel that is set up in your OpenClaw Gateway. OpenClaw copies prices exactly, so type them as they should appear.
02
Name the photo
Say which library photo belongs to the post. OpenClaw looks it up with list_media and tells you if the name does not match, instead of choosing another.
03
Confirm the Page
Facebook publishes as the Page. OpenClaw checks the connected Page with list_accounts, which matters if the café runs one Page for each branch.
04
Review the draft in the chat
OpenClaw replies with the post. Check the prices and the dietary note, then ask for changes in the same conversation before it saves anything.
05
Choose the time and approve
Tell OpenClaw the day and time. Meta allows scheduled API posts from 10 minutes up to 30 days ahead, which fits a weekly rhythm; the request waits as a pending action until you approve it in the dashboard.
06
Add the Monday comment summary
A cron job can read last week's comments and message you the themes. Give it only read tools, so a scheduled run can never create or publish anything on its own.
Prompts to copy
Draft from the chat
Use Tareno to find the photo [oat-cake.jpg] in my media library. Write a Facebook post of about 70 words for this week's specials: [dishes and prices exactly as typed], and mention that [the oat cake is vegan]. Show me the text, and save nothing until I confirm.
Save to the Page
Confirm through Tareno that the Facebook Page [café name] is connected, then save the approved text and the photo as a draft for that Page. Reply with the draft ID, and do not schedule anything.
Monday comment job
Every Monday at 08:00, read the comments under last week's specials post through Tareno and message me the themes with counts: questions, compliments and complaints. Use read tools only and never reply, create a draft or schedule anything.
Request the slot
Ask Tareno to schedule draft [draft ID] for [Monday 07:30] in the [Europe/Berlin] time zone. Reply with the pending action ID and tell me the post is not scheduled until I approve it in the Tareno dashboard.

What Facebook itself documents
The Pages API posts as the Page. The person using it must be able to perform the Page tasks CREATE_CONTENT, MANAGE and MODERATE.
A scheduled post needs a publish time between 10 minutes and 30 days after the API request.
An app can update a Page post only if that app created it.

Facebook in Tareno
Facebook is one of the networks where Tareno reads comments, so the Monday job has real material: it can group what customers asked without you opening the Page.
Facebook posts in Tareno can hold a link with a preview card and up to ten images, so a post can link to the online menu and show a photo together.
Meta's documentation says the Pages API publishes as the Page and that an app can edit only posts it created, so a typo in a post you wrote on Facebook itself cannot be fixed through Tareno.
Because the cron job runs unattended, its tool list is the safety net: reads and drafts only, no scheduling or publishing tools.
What does not work
OpenClaw cannot reply to Facebook comments, because Tareno reads them but has no tool that publishes a reply.
It cannot fix a post that was written directly on Facebook, since Meta lets an app update only the posts it created.
It cannot decide when a post appears, because a time request becomes a post only after you approve it in the Tareno dashboard.
Mistakes to avoid
Letting OpenClaw round a price. It copies what you type, so check the numbers you send.
Forgetting allergens. A dietary note is a promise to customers, so only include it if you are sure and say "ask us about allergens" otherwise.
Running the Monday job while the Gateway is off. A scheduled run only fires if the Gateway is running at 08:00.
Giving the cron job a publishing tool. A job that can post defeats the review step; keep it to reads.
Open the client's MCP server settings. Add Tareno with the HTTPS endpoint below using Streamable HTTP. This requires support for authenticated remote MCP, not just local stdio servers.
Choose OAuth, connect and sign in with your own Tareno account. Check the requested permissions. Refresh the client's tool list after authorization.
Run list_accounts first. Confirm the returned workspace and account IDs before creating a draft. If no accounts appear, connect a social account in Tareno first.

Use the same Tareno account across supported clients. Open the relevant setup guide for authentication, first use, reconnect, and revocation.
You can start the post that way. If a channel is configured in your Gateway and the photo is in your Tareno library, OpenClaw drafts the post and saves it for your Facebook Page. You approve the time in the dashboard.
Can OpenClaw summarize the comments on my Page?
Yes. Tareno can read comments on Facebook, so a scheduled run can group last week's comments into questions, compliments and complaints and message you the result. It cannot reply to them.
What should the Monday job be allowed to do?
Only read. Give it reading tools and nothing else, so an unattended run cannot create a draft or schedule a post. If the Gateway is off at the scheduled time, that Monday's run simply does not happen.
Does it matter which Facebook Page is connected?
Yes. Facebook publishes as the Page, and a business with several branches may have several Pages. OpenClaw confirms the connected Page first, but name the branch in your message if there is more than one.
Can I include the online menu link?
Yes. Links are supported in Facebook text in Tareno's configuration and show a preview card. Ask OpenClaw to add the menu link to the post, and read the draft to check that the link is the right one.
Does anything go out while I am cooking?
Only what you approved before. A time request is a pending action in Tareno, and Facebook receives the post after you approve it in the dashboard, so nothing appears just because OpenClaw drafted it.
