Is OpenClaw an MCP server?
It can be one: openclaw mcp serve exposes OpenClaw to other clients. To use Tareno, OpenClaw instead acts as an MCP client and connects to Tareno's remote server.
How do I connect Tareno to OpenClaw?
Save https://tareno.co/api/mcp as a streamable-http server with auth oauth, run openclaw mcp login tareno, then verify it with openclaw mcp doctor tareno --probe. The four visible steps on this page show the full sequence.
Do I need to install a Tareno skill from ClawHub?
No. This guide uses Tareno's remote MCP server. It does not claim a public Tareno ClawHub skill or ask you to install an unverified package.
Why doesn't Tareno appear in openclaw skills list --eligible?
That command lists OpenClaw skills. Tareno is configured here as an MCP server, so check openclaw mcp status --verbose and openclaw mcp probe tareno instead.
Why are Tareno tools missing after sign-in?
Run openclaw mcp doctor tareno --probe. If authorization is required, run openclaw mcp login tareno again. Also check the agent's tool profile and MCP tool filters or denials.
Does OpenClaw need my social media passwords?
No. Connect social accounts in Tareno and authorize OpenClaw to Tareno through OAuth. Review which Tareno account and connected destination the agent can access.
Can I ask OpenClaw through WhatsApp or Telegram to prepare a social media post?
Yes, if that channel is configured in OpenClaw and your sender is allowed. OpenClaw can call Tareno MCP to prepare a draft for a connected social account. The chat app is the input channel; scheduling or publishing remains a pending Tareno action until you approve it in the dashboard.
Can OpenClaw cron publish posts fully automatically through Tareno?
OpenClaw can run a scheduled agent turn unattended, but Tareno schedule_posts and publish_posts calls create pending actions and do not mutate a connected account before dashboard approval. The example on this page is narrower: its --tools allowlist permits web_search, account and post reads, and create_drafts only.
What is the difference between OpenClaw and NanoClaw?
They are separate open-source projects. OpenClaw is a Gateway with configurable messaging channels and agent tools; NanoClaw describes itself as a smaller assistant whose agents run in isolated Linux containers. Check each project's setup and security model before connecting tools.
How is a recurring agent run different from a scheduled post?
A recurring run prepares work; a scheduled post has its own time and approval state in Tareno. Treat them as separate steps.
