Common reasons for post failures
Social network APIs can be complex. Here are the most common reasons why a post might not have gone out:
1. Aspect Ratio Errors: Platforms like Instagram and TikTok are very strict. An Instagram Reel must be 9:16. If you try to post a square video as a Reel, the platform will reject it.
2. Duplicate Content: Some networks (like X/Twitter) will block you if you try to post the exact same text and image twice within a short window to prevent spam.
3. Account Restrictions: If your account hasn't been used for a long time or has been flagged for community standard violations, the API might be temporarily disabled.
How to fix: Open the failed post in the Tareno calendar. Read the "Error Detail" popup. Often, simply adjusting the media or changing a few words in the caption and clicking "Retry" will solve the issue.
