Local news lives on Facebook because that is where the neighborhood reads, and the post that links to a story matters nearly as much as the story. A good post says what happened in two sentences, names where it is from and gives the link a preview card to carry. Grok Bot is strong at checking a story against current sources, and Tareno turns the result into a draft on the outlet's Page. This page follows a small local news outlet through that routine, with the sources checked, the link handled the way Facebook handles it and the approval left with the editor.
Imagine an outlet whose reporter has filed a story about a town council vote on bus routes. The editor gives Grok Bot the article link and two sources: the council's published minutes and the transport company's statement. Grok Bot checks the headline claim against both, notes that the article says the vote was 7 to 4 while the minutes say 7 to 5, and flags it. After the correction it writes a two-sentence Facebook post with the link, which gets a preview card. It saves the post through create_drafts for the Page after confirming it with list_accounts. The editor reads it in Tareno and approves a 07:15 slot, inside Meta's window of 10 minutes to 30 days.
Where your Grok plan allows custom connectors, add the Tareno endpoint with OAuth. A catalog install is not available at the moment, and availability depends on your plan and workspace.
Provide the article link and the primary sources, such as minutes or a statement. Ask Grok Bot to check every claim in the headline and the first paragraph against them.
Where the article and a source disagree, such as a vote count, fix the article or the post. A Facebook post that repeats a wrong number spreads it faster than the correction.
Ask for two sentences that say what happened and who it affects, with the link in the text. Facebook shows a preview card for links in Tareno's configuration, so the post does not have to repeat the whole story.
Grok Bot confirms the Page with list_accounts and saves the post through create_drafts. Read it in Tareno together with the preview and the headline it shows.
Give a date, a time and an IANA time zone inside Meta's window of 10 minutes to 30 days. The request becomes a pending action, and you approve it in the Tareno dashboard.

Not today. We submitted Tareno to the Grok Bot marketplace and had no decision at the last check in October 2026. The manual connector described above gives Grok Bot the same tools in the meantime.
Yes, if you give it the documents or links. It compares the headline and the key figures with them and reports differences, such as a vote count. The editor decides which source is right before anything is posted.
In Tareno's configuration, yes: links in Facebook text get a preview card. That is why the post can be two sentences long, and why you should check the headline and image that the card is likely to show.
It can read and group them, because Tareno exposes comment reading for Facebook. It cannot publish replies; moderation and answers stay with your team on Facebook itself.
Because a news outlet needs an editor between a draft and a publication. A time request is a pending action in Tareno, and Facebook receives the post only after the editor approves it in the dashboard.
No. The custom connection uses OAuth, so you sign in with your Tareno account and Grok Bot stores the authorization. Never paste a key or a token into a prompt.
